Althoughshe does not have gills as do most Atlanteans. Namora's lungs contain lamelia (oxygen-diffusing membranes), enabling her to extract oxygen from water as she inhales it. Namora can swim through water at an approximate speed of about 26 knots (30 miles per hour) for several hours before tiring. |
